My name is Lee Cummings. My wife, daughter and I live in Lexington, VA. Prior to serving in the United States Navy as a Seabee from 2009-2014 I worked for many years in landscaping learning how to properly care for vegetative garden beds, maintain lawns, and how to properly prune trees and shrubs. Prior to 2009, I also pursued and completed an extensive heavy equipment operator course in Blackstone, Virginia allowing me to extend my skills and expertise in land services. I’ve spent the last eight years working with farmers and land owners across Rockbridge County through conservation programs and best management practices regarding land vegetation and management to improve water quality in our local streams and rivers. In 2023, I was elected as one of the Natural Bridge SWCD Board of Directors for the County of Rockbridge which I am proud to serve for the 2024-2028 term. My love for running equipment, working the land, and helping farmers and land owners in the community brought me to start Mountain to Stream LLC.
